Free gite listing request:
terms and conditions

If you sign up to a free gite listing on French Linguistics, you agree to the following conditions. The purpose of these conditions is essentially for you to understand how your information will be protected, and that as a free service, it is provided without guarantee.

In these terms:
(1) French Linguistics refers to the French Linguistics web site, hosted at the domain french-linguistics.co.uk;
(2) The Site Owner refers to Neil Coffey, the owner of French Linguistics, trading in the UK under the name of Javamex UK.

• The Site Owner agrees not to knowingly make available to any third party information that you submit regarding your gite listing, other than the information that will be made public as indicated above.
• The Site Owner will endeavour to hold your data in accordance with, and generally comply with, the UK Data Protection Act 1988.
• At any time, you may request that all data regarding your gite be removed from French Linguistics. Such requests must be made by e-mail to gites@french-linguistics.co.uk and must originate from the e-mail address that you submitted as part of your initial listing request.
• That you are the individual owner of the property being listed. (At present, listings on behalf of agencies will not be accepted.)
• That in signing up to a listing of your gite on French Linguistics, you are not breaking the terms and conditions of any other listing (such as with an agency or another web site) which you may already have for your gite.
• That The Site Owner reserves the right to decline or remove a listing, without notice, if he considers it unsuitable for any reason.
• That the listing service is provided "as is". Except where otherwise specified, no guarantees whatsoever are made regarding the uptime of French Linguistics, the availability of your gite's listing on French Linguistics, transmission to you of enquiries made by potential clients via French Linguistics, or any other matter relating to the listing of your gite on French Linguistics.
• You agree not to hold The Site Owner liable for any loss or damage that you might incur as a result of, or relating in any way to, the listing of your gite on French Linguistics or the submission of your listing request to French Linguistics.
