(a) (in game) to lose; (fig) to lose out; on perd à tous les coups you can't win, it's a Catch 22 situation

(b) (of tank) to leak

3 se perdre Verb, pronominal

(a) to get lost, lose one's way; (fig) get bogged down (dans, in)

(b) to disappear, vanish; (fig) die out, (of a ship) sink, be wrecked
