How to type accents

If you are translating a French text, it is important to try and enter the accents that occur above certain letters:

e/ = é
e\ = è
e^ = ê
e" = ë
c, = ç

In general, you can substitute another vowel letter for e in the examples above (so to type â, you can enter a^ etc).
